Ishanya Foundation (IsFon)

Established in 2006, Ishanya Foundation (IsFon) is a registered trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. As a not-for-profit organisation, IsFon is committed to driving inclusive development and enhancing livelihoods at the grassroots level. For over 18 years, IsFon has worked extensively with underprivileged and marginalised communities across both rural and urban regions of Maharashtra and Gujarat. Guided by the mission to catalyse meaningful change, the Foundation empowers individuals and communities through targeted interventions.

Its key areas of impact include education, healthcare, women empowerment, vocational training, livelihood development, community welfare, and social upliftment. These programmes are designed to be transformative, sustainable, and deeply responsive to local needs.

IsFon places a strong emphasis on collaboration, partnering with NGOs, international non-profits, and government bodies at both the state and national levels to amplify its reach and impact. All initiatives are grounded in rigorous research and continuous assessment, with insights drawn from both primary and secondary data sources. This evidence-based approach ensures that the Foundation’s efforts remain relevant, strategic, and effective in addressing real-world challenges.
