Deepak Fertilisers Q2 PAT down 9.49%

The profit after tax (PAT) of Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd. was down 9.49 per cent at Rs. 14.5 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2005, as against Rs. 16 crore in the corresponding period the previous year. This was due to a reduction in production caused by temporary stoppage of operations due to the recent floods in the state. The net sales of the company, however, was up 6.97 per cent at Rs. 111.03 crore in the period, compared to Rs. 103.60 crore in the same quarter last year.
