MAHADHAN AMRUTA
![]() |
Mahadhan Amruta is water-soluble NPK fertilisers available in various grades. They are chemically refined and free flowing and hence easy to apply at a desired concentration through micro-irrigation systems (drip and sprinklers) and even foliar application. The suitable grade can be selected depending on the plant requirement and growth stage. |
Features of Mahadhan Amruta
- Completely soluble in irrigation water
- Acidic in nature thereby no clogging of irrigation system by salts like carbonates and bicarbonates.
- Free from unwanted harmful salts
- Choice of different combination of nutrients, so application as per the growth stages of the crop
- Fertilisers may be applied directly to the root zone
- Regular flow of both water and nutrients, so increased growth rate, higher yield and quality
- Savings in nutrients by 35-40% due to fertigation technique
- Versatile utility for fertigation, foliar spray and also side dressing in crystalline powder or dissolved form
- Ensures balanced nutrition to the plant
- Savings in time and labour and thereby overall cost of cultivation of the crop
- Improves availability of nutrients and their uptake by the roots
- Easy to handle and transport because of their solid but non-hygroscopic nature
- Improves quality and quantity of final agricultural products
How to apply Mahadhan Amruta
Mahadhan Amruta can be applied directly through
micro-irrigation systems with the help of ventury injection,
fertiliser tank, domestic pumps, STPT pumps and power sprayers at
the root zone of the plant.
It can also be applied by the foliar sprays as a supplemental
source to soil application for quicker results. Foliar feeding
should be done only either in early morning hours when leaves are
free from dew or moisture droplets or in the evening hours. It
should not coincide the scorching hours of the day. Crops under
water stress condition should not be sprayed.
The third method of application is by side dressing directly along
the crop rows in crystalline powder or dissolved form, which is
effective in widely spaced plants when there is no
micro-irrigation systems.
Rate of Application

For fertigation the concentration of mother solution should be between 10-20% depending on the water temperature and the concentration in drip line between 0.1% to 0.2%. However, for foliar application the concentration of the solution varies from 0.5% to 1.5% for most horticultural crops depending on the type of crop, crop age, spraying condition etc. In continuous fertigation (hydroponics, greenhouse, plastic channels without base dressing) the fertigation solution should be between 350-600 ppm. Mahadhan Amruta is available in 25 kg HDPE Bags and 1kg cartons in various grades. Water Soluble micro-nutrients are also available.
